HOW TO GET HERE
Flying into Amsterdam
Amsterdam Airport Schipol (AMS) is an international hub for serving more than 67 million passengers each year, and the headquarters of the SkyTeam airline alliance.
Needless to say, no matter where you are in the world, getting to Amsterdam is straightforward. From there, Rotterdam just a stone's throw away - Dutch Railways (NS) provides rail transport from Schipol to Rotterdam Central every 15 minutes.
After you arrive in Schipol, look for the yellow NS ticket booths, and purchase your ticket. The train platforms are directly beneath the terminal building and can be accessed by escalator. Your trip to Rotterdam Central Station will be 30 minutes.
Flying into Rotterdam
Rotterdam The Hague Airport (RTM) is an international hub connecting 50 destinations in Europe, The Middle East, and North Africa via 7 airlines, including British Airways and Transavia.
Connecting to Rotterdam Central Station via public transport is doable, and will take you 20 - 30 minutes.
However, given Schipol's far greater connection offerings and direct NS train route to Rotterdam Central, the major benefit of flying into Rotterdam only materializes if you plan to rent a car. After selecting from multiple major car rental options offered at the airport, you can drive to the city center and major hotel district in 15 minutes.
Arriving by Rail
Rotterdam Central Station is conveniently located in the city center near the sights, attractions, and many of the hotels listed below.
Rotterdam Central is well connected to other Dutch cities, and also offers international services to Antwerp, Brusssels, London and Paris up to 14 times a day. If you're joining us from any of these locations, arriving by train is an option you should consider.
